Milt Stegall - Situps / Crunches? |

| I read that MIlt Stegall (professional WR - CFL - Blue Bombers) does 500-700 situps / crunches a day
His nickname is "turtle man" cuz his abs are so hard Should this be my goal? Or should I try to be doing maybe 100 with sets of 10 by using high resistance? --- I've read on sites that ABS are just like any other muscle and should be only worked 2-3 times a week with resistance While others say ABS are special and can do 500+ crunches a day --- I know the 500+ method worked for MIlt Stegall, but he also does lots of running and strength training exercises --- Right now I'm able to do 1000 crunches by doing 50 at a time (20 sets) My form is as follows: Legs raised on a bench with knees touching but feet apart and toes touching (read on bodybuilding.com this is how to do proper crunches for max results). Back is firmly on the ground and I have my arms placed crossed on my shoulders holding a 10lb weight. I lift my shoulderblades off of the ground (etc) |
