Why are some women afraid of lifting weights?

Do they think that it will turn them all ''muscley'' like professional female bodybuilders?

Most women I know are afraid to lift weights because they think that, if they do, they will turn into one of those bodybuilding women. If they do lift weights, they will grab weights that are so low, that it won't affect them in anyway. (Like using 1 pound dumbbells curling them.) Do they not know that a lot of them abuse steroids?

I know some of you are probably going to say that....

I have back problems, have pains on the lower back, the nexk and have pretty bad posture. I feel as if my back bones are squished together, not allowing me to grow to much extent, and i belive bodybuilding has contributed to it. Whom should i see to help me, help my back, stretch it, treat back pain, a chiropractor or an osteopath?

Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, "Strongman" salary?

OK...I never thought about it too much, but how much do these guys get paid? Do they get paid salaries or are they paid another way? Is it competition based or are competition winnings just bonuses? Can somebody give me some number ranges (for each sport) and how exactly they get paid? Or can you give me a website or two that would have this info? And DON'T tell me to Google it, I'm so sick of people using that as an answer, damn point-hungry fools.

Why do Christians hate strong people who reject their Jesus?

I remember the last time I was in the 'herd', most of the Christians at Church hated me for boxing and bodybuilding...so 'earthly' and 'of the flesh'...and then of course the Chrisitan women wanted to 'save' me (lol).
It was pathetic...was what drove me off. Was the Navigators, actually, when I was in the USAF. I have a strong personality, but I never ran up and yelled "What are you gonna do brother when these 24 inch pythons wrap around your head, knock you unconscious....

A Question About BodyBuilding???

Is it better to lose weight and Completely shed all your fat before starting to build your body???

I want to lose weight completely and become pencil thin before I start building my body because that way the muscles that I develop will be concrete quality and solid rock hard. Whereas if I start building my body without losing weight, I am worried that the muscles will be soft, because they will be muscles mixed with fat. At the gym people say I am crazy for wanting to become pencil thin before....

is the protein in the milk still digested if I have lactose intolerance?

I just started bodybuilding. As we all know, this activity needs a lot of protein. However, I've got lactose intolerance and I still want to consume milk though. If I get diarrhea after drinking milk, is the protein inside the milk still fully digested or flushed out together with the lactose?
